Consisting of glacial meltwater, the river Arve which flows through the centre of Chamonix town, is the perfect river for your first rafting adventure experience.  Not technically difficult, it provides an ideal learning ground for discovering white-water rafting.  Armed against the cold water with a wet suit, you can be sure of a memorable thrilling time.

Just a short drive from Chamonix valley, the river Dora Baltea in Italy provides a more thrilling experience with an amazing flow of water from June through to the end of August.  Technically demanding, and physically exerting, this river is renowned through Europe for its spectacular white water.

You must be able to swim.
