We take care of the logistics – so you don’t have to.

We take care of the transport – getting you to and from your accommodation to the ski slopes or any of the other activities we personally organise.
We ensure that you have the best ski pass for your lessons or guiding.
We ensure that you experience the best snow conditions that Chamonix valley (or beyond) has to offer!

In short, we want you to share our passion for skiing and mountains – and the best, simplest and easiest way for us to do that is we take care of the little things – so you do not have to worry.

About James Kaler

Kariboo-Adventure is run by James Kaler – an experienced high-mountain guide and ski instructor, with over 13 years experience. He is one of the few guides and instructors who has diplomas in high mountain guiding from the UIAGM, and well as qualifications as a ski instructor from the Ski Alpin ENSA.

James also spent three years “training the trainers” for the French Ministry of Sport, as well as being “trainer for the trainers” for Off-piste skiing for the Fédération Française de Ski.

Never one to sit on his laurels, James is currently studying “Coaching for Sports Performance” which involves Neuro-linguistic programming (NLP) and other “life” coaching techniques which are applicable to sports – becoming one of the first ski guides and instructors to encorporate an NLP approach in their ski tuition. This approach is fantastic for those learning to ski who have fears or confidence issues – as well as helping more advanced skiers to progress in the sport.
